EcoConcrete Ltd is a manufacturer of Beam and Block Flooring systems established in 2018, with factory in Isinya and head office in Parklands, Nairobi, Kenya. Affiliated with Somers Engineering Ltd (established 1987). Projects include shopping malls, cold rooms, houses, multi-storey buildings, warehouses, sports halls, churches, water tanks, septic tanks, culverts, carparks, and flat roofs.

Product Specifications - Beam & Block System

T-shaped precast concrete beams laid in rows suspended on inner leaf of main walls with block infill. Two beam sizes available: - 150mm deep for standard span and load applications - 225mm deep for heavy duty and longer span commercial construction. Standard solid infill blocks: 380mm x 200mm x 150mm, made with high pressure hydraulic press. Block strength: 3.5 KN transverse strength (tested to Kenyan and British Standards). Density of hollow infill blocks: 1160 kg/m³. Topping: 50mm screed with 1.25 KN/m² load rating.
